I’ve been waiting to do this video for weeks and maybe even months. Fall is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love the weather, the football season, the fashion trends, just about everything that has to do with the season.
This season I am all about jumpsuits, rompers, and two piece sets. For such a long time, I tried to avoid matching perfectly and definitely wouldn’t wear the same color top as my bottoms, but times have changed as they say.
This season I am all about one piece outfits or two pieces that coordinate. A lot of people are still nervous to adapt to this trend which makes it very fashion forward. You do not have to be an extreme fashionista to pull off an outfit like this.
Hi, thanks for being here! I am so excited to get to talk about this outfit… one of my all time favorites. I have always had a strong interest in sports and athleisure but also fashion.
In the past, I struggled with incorporating the two together. I would either be completely dressed down in leggings and a t-shirt or dressed up to the 9s unrecognizably sporting a dress and heels. This outfit right here is very fashion forward, but sporty and casual all at the same time.
For the past year or two, denim has been making a statement. I like to think denim got to a point where they were sick of being the backup dancer, they wanted the spotlight back.
I remember just a few years back, the only option there was for denim was a skinny jean, straight leg, bootcut and maybe a flare if you wanted to be bold. So you had four styles to choose from and each most likely came in a dark wash and a light wash, but no interesting hem line and no distressing.
The sole purpose of your denim was to just be a basic bottom that wouldn’t steal any attention away from the top you wore or the fabulous shoes you were going to rock. However, within the past year or two, I’m proud to say that denim has made a comeback!
